I have quite a bit of experience teaching essay composition and grammar, having worked for a while at an ESL school. My strength lies in my writing, and my ability to teach this to others. Hobbies

I am a competitive long distance runner. I am a jazz musician. My instrument is saxophone (tenor and soprano). I enjoy reading - particularly fine literature. Right now I'm reading a lot of Canadian literature: W. O. Mitchell and Margaret Laurence currently. I also read a lot of non-fiction – especially philosophy. I'm reading a good deal of Paul Ricoeur lately. I'm recently getting really into history as well. I'm trying to learn the history of Christianity as well as I can – particularly up to the 5th century and the fall of the Roman Empire.
