Education
I am currently a graduate student in the Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences department at McMaster University. I had completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Physiology and Health/Disease, where I finished with a cGPA of 3.8/4.
Experience
I was involved in Peer Tutoring at Markham District High School during my senior year (2013). I was responsible for helping grade 9 students in math and general science. In 2015, I was an Exam-Aid Instructor for Students Offering Support. This involved preparing and presenting a four hour recap of first year biology to students. I wish to become a tutor because teaching has always been a joy of mine. I find it very rewarding when I see my peers achieve greater academic accomplishments from the hard work they put in. I am currently tutoring two students in Grade 8 and 11 Math, Biology, and Chemistry.
