I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in English from Wilfrid Laurier University. I then went on to earn a Humber College Postgraduate Honours Certificate in Event Management.
Experience
I offer tutoring to students in grades 1-12 for reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. I also work with university-level students as a private tutor for a wide variety of courses, including creative writing, poetry writing, public speaking, fiction writing, and more. Additionally, I am able to offer editing assistance and more general help in developing effective study skills and organizational methodology for students of all ages. In the past, I have served as a volunteer for a preschool classroom and high school ESL classroom. I also have experience tutoring students from high school level to editing a master's thesis. I love to teach and am very outgoing and organized. While I am goal-oriented I understand the importance of balance in one's life.
