Hello, my name is Brittany. I have a diverse set of successful teaching experiences including teaching language arts in elementary school, biology/science instruction in secondary school, and tutorial facilitation in a university setting as a teaching assistant within the Life Sciences Department at McMaster. In addition, I recently taught the Grade 12 University Biology course. I have successfully tutoured students of all ages. The approach I take when tutouring is to focus on students' conceptual difficulties and then use engaging strategies that students understand to clarify such concepts. I often provide students with supplemental instructional resources to help them further enrich their understanding.
