I have designed and taught two courses at the University of Waterloo (Intro to Academic Writing and Intro to Social Media Studies), and taught in various capacities more than ten courses. I have 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including as a writing instructor for the English Department at the University of Waterloo. I am passionate about the English language and eager to instill that passion in others. I am also a professional editor, proofreader and writer with over 8 years experience in the field. In addition to serving as an editing and design consultant for several faculties at the University of Ottawa, I have a background in literature and publishing. For the past four years I have worked as a private writing consultant for environmental companies including Sustainable Strategies and Solutions. I have a PhD in English from the University of Waterloo, a Masters Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Ottawa, as well as an Honours B.A. in English. My services include proofreading, editing, and analysis of content, style and structure.
