I am a 4th year PhD student and TA at McMaster in Math & Stats. I have a Masters in Stats from Mac and India with a specialization in Biostats. I am proficient in all undergraduate level Stats and Biostats courses and can also help in project works. I am fluent in C++, R, SPSS and MINITAB. I am very helpful and have more than 5 years tutoring experience. I motivate students to keep studying and to believe in themselves to do well in exams. Experience
Prior to joining Mac I have worked in PHFI, India (similar to PHRI Canada) and ACCESS Health International. I have been involved in various long-term research and teaching projects here and in India and published and presented my work in several international conferences. I have also served as a Senior organizer and Executive secretary of the Statistical Society of Canada Student conferences. Here in Mac I have tutored all 1 and 2 level statistics courses and have also worked as a specialized TA in the Math help centre. I have conducted tutorials and lab demonstrations. I have designed tutorial content and monitored online discussion forums. I have also graded lots of exams so I know common mistakes.
